Make Informed Financial Choices

Hi Friends! I am Benny The Bee®, and I love being MONEY WISE. Buzz, buzz, buzz!

Buzz, buzz, buzz! Money is always going to flow in and flow out, and by knowing this, you too can be(e) MONEY WISE. Here are a few helpful hints:

1. Budget for entertainment! Just like bees need to take breaks from working hard, I budget for entertainment and leisure activities. This might mean going to the movies, taking a trip, or trying out a new restaurant. By budgeting for these things, I can have fun without overspending.

2. I invest in experiences! Bees collect nectar from a variety of flowers to create different flavors of honey, and I invest in experiences to create a rich and fulfilling life. This might mean traveling, trying new hobbies, or taking classes to learn new skills. By investing in experiences, I am able to create memories that will last a lifetime.

3. I make a budget! Just like bees have to carefully manage their honey supply, I make sure to budget my money carefully. I create a plan for how much money I have coming in each month and prioritize spending for things that I need and savings for unexpected expenses.

4. I avoid unnecessary debt! It is easy to get into debt, but it can be hard to get out of it. Just like bees can get trapped in sticky sap and find it hard to escape, getting into debt can be hard to escape. I avoid using credit cards or taking out loans for things that I really do not need.

5. I truly love to give! I collect money in a glass jar every month so that I can give it to other bees or help celebrate other bees!

6. I save for the future! Bees have to store up food for the winter, and I take the same approach with my money. I set aside some of my earnings each month into a savings account for my future.
